What Would You Like to Know?

DO YOU CHARGE BY THE HOUR?

Yes, we charge by the hour.  Our service is set up so that our DIYers receive an hourly rate.  Our minimum charge is half an hour, to ensure it is worthwhile for our DIYers to attend to your job.

DO YOU COVER MY AREA?

Due to the nature of the service we do have DIYers who are available and capable to undertake jobs for customers in many different areas, as well as some who are prepared to travel a little for jobs that they enjoy.  We do promote local wherever possible to reduce the travel requirement, which is more friendly to the environment too.

Give us a try, we might just have someone who fits the bill locally. 

DO YOU OFFER VIDEO CONSULTATIONS?

This will depend on the complexity of the job and the personal preferences of both customers and DIYers.

If it saves a trip and ensures a DIYer can arrive with all the right tools to complete the job first time then why not, but it is up to both parties to decide what is right for them.

WHICH PAYMENT METHODS DO YOU ACCEPT?

Credit/debit card payments over the phone, once the work has been completed, please note we do not accept cash.  If you wish to tip your DIYer please inform our payment team who will pass this on directly to our DIYer (it's also nice for us to see how much of a positive impression our DIYers are making on customers)

HOW DO YOU SUPPORT VULNERABLE CUSTOMERS?

In situations where total peace of mind is required we offer a chaperone service, this will often be a second DIYer who can support the first DIYer but is primarily there as an independent party to reassure the customer and their family.  In some cases our DIYers are DBS checked through their day job, which can provide additional peace of mind and where possible we may be able to provide female DIYers for female customers.
